The weather couldn't have been better as I drove down to Herne Bay, Kent in our 1951 Buick Super wedding car called 'Daisy'. The journey went smoothly and I arrived in plenty of time to pick up the Bride and her Father, and we set off to the very quaint 'St. Mary's Church'. After the service we drove onto the Twin Towers of the medieval church at Reculver which dominate the skyline of Herne Bay for some fabulous photographs. The imposing twin towers of the medieval church is one of the earliest Roman forts built against Saxons raids, and they can be seen from wherever you stand on the beach. Herne bay is enriched with history, and is famous for the bouncing bomb tests which was carried-out during the war. This was a perfect wedding in Herne Bay, and I will definitely be making another trip to this area to learn more about its history, whilst enjoying in the stunning scenery.
