The Rochford Hotel - Wedding
It’s been a while since we last blogged, and we would like to personally welcome you back to Dream American Cars blog page!
2017 has been a marvellous year for us, as we have been privileged to chauffeur many Brides and their party to the biggest day of their lives, and I must add, we always have the loveliest of Brides. This year we have ventured across Essex, Suffolk and London, even down to the far depths of Kent and across to Berkshire, distance has been pretty much a doddle for our American wedding cars with their huge engines, which were designed to travel across the States of America.
One of our most recent weddings took place at The Rochford Hotel, a local wedding venue that is well known for having it all! As well as the stunning, secluded grounds which surround the hotel’s lavish wedding pavilion, they are also well known for having very friendly and attentive wedding coordinators, and wait for it……. the Wedding Pavilion has original pews!
Our pick-up was in the tranquil area of Burnham-on Crouch, and what a perfect day it was, as it was the 27th October and it was a scorcher of a day.
Both our 1951 Buick Super ‘Daisy’ and 1947 Cadillac ‘Bettie-Mae’ were booked to pick up our Bride and Bridal party. When we arrived, it was not decided on who was having which car, but as soon as our Bride ‘Carrie’ set eyes on Daisy, her eyes lit up and we knew this was going to be her car, along with her Mother and Father to escort her. Bettie-Mae was not left out at all, oh no… she had five Bridesmaids gushing over her, and they couldn’t wait to set-off on their 50-minute journey, all the way to The Rochford Hotel, where the ceremony and reception was to be held.
As soon as we arrived at The Rochford Hotel, the Bridal Party calmly made their way into the Hotel to meet the Registrar, they were very relaxed and just enjoying the beautiful day, it was a pleasure to witness. After their ceremony, the Bridal Party, family and guests made their way back round to the front of the hotel where the wedding cars were parked up and waiting, to then proceed with some photographs. Whilst the photographs were taking place, we managed to capture a few ourselves.
We would like to congratulate Carrie & Kris on your marriage, and it was a delight to chauffeur for you and your family.
